WE'RE HERE FOR YOU
Handle With Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the homeless community throughout Los Angeles, with a focus on West Hollywood and Hollywood. We provide care packages to homeless individuals, filled with foods, personal care items, and resource guides along with a friendly hello and conversation.
The mission of handle with care is to help people who are homeless with their daily needs while also acting as a bridge to other services and opportunities to improve their lives.
In a perfect world, there wouldn’t be a single person living on our streets. Until that day comes, there are people that need our help. To fulfill our mission, we pack and distribute care packages that help people with their daily needs while they are without housing. Handle With Care also advocates for public policies that support individuals who are homeless and promote affordable housing.
VOLUNTEER & DONATE

Non-perishable foods, fresh fruit, bottled water, and personal care items (band aids, socks, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, deodorant) and more.
Financial donations are tax deductible and can be made by check, cash, or a donation directly at our bank (contact us for this information).

FIVE FRIENDS – SEEING A NEED IN THE COMMUNITY.
In January 2018, five friends gathered over a meal and discussed the issues of homelessness in our community and beyond. We decided to be the change instead of just talking about the problem. We gathered funds, organized friends, and hit the streets in February 2018 for our first distribution of care packages. Since then, we have engaged hundreds of volunteers, distributed thousands of care packages, organized fundraisers, and connected with hundreds of amazing people living on the streets. Get involved – we need you.
